About The Position
Professionally and efficiently operate custom application equipment to service grower needs who are paying for the service.
Requirements
- Custom applicator license for handling restricted use pesticides.
- HazMat endorsement on driver’s license if handling such chemicals.
- Ability to work seasonal hours that require overtime to accomplish work goals.
- Operational skills involving hydraulics and air brakes.
- Proficiency with software and GPS mapping systems pertaining to the piece of equipment to be run.
- Ability to diagnose basic issues with the machinery and/or software.
Responsibilities
- Operate custom application equipment to service grower needs.
- Perform professional and quality work on customer fields without damage to equipment or property.
- Provide proper care and maintenance of equipment.
- Correctly read plat maps and work orders to locate fields for application.
- Communicate with managers, coworkers, and customers.
