About The Position

The Agronomy Operations/Delivery position is responsible for packaging and delivering seed, chemical, and fertilizer products to customers. The role also supports inventory management, safe and compliant operations, vehicle and equipment maintenance, facility cleanliness, and customer service. Employees attend training and safety meetings, communicate with customers, employees, and management, maintain a clean and professional appearance, and perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic computer operation skills.
Commercial Driver’s License required.
Basic knowledge of agricultural products and their uses.
Must understand and comply with applicable safety and governmental regulations.

Nice To Haves

Hazmat endorsement preferred, or ability to obtain and maintain one.

Responsibilities

Deliver seed, fertilizer, and pesticides to customers’ fields and farms.
Package agricultural products and fill vessels, including those for NH3, liquid fertilizers, and crop protection products.
Accurately measure, count, and store inventory at locations.
Follow safety and governmental regulations.
Clean and maintain vehicles and equipment as qualified, and report issues.
Maintain clean facilities and comply with state and federal regulations concerning workplace safety, housekeeping, and regulated activities.
Attend trainings and safety meetings.
Provide excellent customer service, respond promptly to customer needs, resolve questions, complaints, and concerns, and meet commitments.
Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with customers, employees, and management.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
