About The Position

This position assists the operations team during key times of the year, supports lead agronomists and other agronomists in support activities, and aims to maintain and proactively build long-term, profitable relationships with customers for Farmers Cooperative Society. The role involves operational support, administrative tasks, technical agronomy support, warehouse management, equipment maintenance, and professional development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Progressive, positive work history
  • Acceptable Driving Record
  • Technology acumen including Microsoft and Apple software platforms, advanced computer use.
  • Class A CDL with tanker and Haz Mat endorsement or ability to obtain.
  • Custom application licenses
  • Ability to operate and understand mobile equipment.
  • Possess mechanical skills to perform minor maintenance tasks.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment, attention to unloading/loading trucks and moving equipment.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations professionally.
  • High level of customer service focus
  • Advanced computer technology skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide operations support during key times of the year, including operating application equipment, product delivery, and facility assistance.
  • Assist lead and other agronomists with administrative tasks such as blend sheets, record keeping, product ordering, and inventory management.
  • Offer technical agronomy support to agronomists and customers, including field scouting, sampling, and diagnostics.
  • Work with the Location Manager and Lead Agronomy Tech for daily jobs and tasks.
  • Manage warehouse operations, including product ordering, inventory, and customer assistance.
  • Perform equipment maintenance at the location.
  • Attend key FCS meetings and training events.
  • Engage in professional skill development with agronomists, the operations manager, and the lead agronomy tech.
  • Work on various projects related to the agronomy department.
  • Participate in special projects and other assigned duties.
