About The Position

This job involves working in an educational garden that functions as a laboratory for core classes within the Falk School programs, including Food Studies, Sustainability, and Environmental Science. It also serves as an experimental station designed to help learners of all ages engage with the science, practice, and social movement of agroecology.

Requirements

  • Ability and interest in working collaboratively

  • Excitement about hands-on work
  • Utilizing Teams to gather data and communicate with team

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in vegetable production, crop management, or food preparation
  • Enrolled in FST 520 or FST 320, or have taken these courses in the past

Responsibilities

  • Support the Farm Team during scheduled shifts
  • Take on independent projects such as farm to table events
  • Engage in education and outreach opportunities
  • Undertake independent production projects
