About The Position

The Agro Clerk reports to the Store Manager and is involved in embodying Four Rivers Co-operative values: Responsibility, Integrity, Service, and Excellence. This role requires working co-operatively with team members to deliver legendary service, promoting brand values (Locally Invested, Community-Minded, and Lifetime Membership Benefits), and assisting in the coordination of Agricultural product sales in an efficient, safe, and cost-effective manner while providing a consistently high level of customer service. The Agro Clerk will also work with team members and leaders throughout the store, provide the final customer service experience at the till, stock and face checkout merchandise, keep the sales floor organized and clean, be dependable for all scheduled shifts, perform cash out procedures, and maintain a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50lbs as required
• Adaptable, organized, efficient and committed

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a retail sales environment in the areas of customer service, Agricultural products, point of sale operation and merchandising is considered an asset
• An understanding of feed and farm is considered an asset
• Interested in crops and animals

• Assisting and helping co-ordinate the sale of Agricultural products, ensuring that it is done in an efficient, safe and cost-effective manner while providing a consistently high level of customer service.
• Work co-operatively with team members and team leaders throughout the whole store
• Be the final customer service experience for our members as they complete their shopping through prompt and accurate checkout at the till while accepting multiple methods of payment
• Stocking and facing checkout merchandise as required
• Keeping sales floor organized and clean
• Be dependable for all scheduled shifts and perform cash out procedures
• Maintain a neat, clean and orderly location at all times by using good housekeeping standards
