About The Position
Chinook Equipment in Lethbridge is looking for a Heavy Equipment Technician (HET). The Lethbridge Branch is set to begin full operations in a new, state-of-the-art building in late 2025, aiming to be the central location for their Southern Alberta customer base. Journeyman Technicians can expect to earn upwards of $48 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Journeyman OR a strong 3rd or 4th year HET Apprentice
- Strong hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills
- Valid Driver’s License
Nice To Haves
- Broad knowledge in construction, AG, or compact equipment (Bobcat)
- Experience in Field Service is an asset
- A/C experience is considered a strong asset
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy physical work
- Lift at least 50lbs or more
- Pass a criminal record check and pre-employment drug screening
