About The Position

We are looking for an exceptional and experienced Agriculture Equipment Technician to join our team in Waskatenau, AB, Lloydminster, AB, and High River, AB. This role involves working on a wide range of agriculture equipment and brands, from large agriculture equipment to lawn and garden equipment. Responsibilities include diagnostics, electrical work, general repairs, maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, and pre-season inspections and updates. Technicians will also complete detailed notes on work orders and recommendations, and perform work in the shop and/or field as needed. Manufacturer training is provided.

Requirements

• A Journeyperson Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty AG Mechanic would be preferred (will also consider apprentices or other trade qualifications)
• Proficient with computer and electrical diagnostics (CANBUS troubleshooting and using an Electronic Scan Tool)

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty AG Mechanic
• Experience with agriculture equipment would be a bonus (including experience growing up or working on a farm), but not required
• Someone who is a problem solver, finding solutions to complex repair or diagnostic challenges

Responsibilities

• Working on a wide range of agriculture equipment and brands (Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Rogator, Cub Cadet, Bourgault and Morris seeding products and more!)
• Working on large agriculture equipment to lawn and garden equipment
• Diagnostics, electrical work, general repairs, maintenance and pre-delivery inspections of equipment
• Pre-season inspections and updates to equipment
• Completing detailed notes on work orders and recommendations for additional work that should be considered for the equipment
• Completing work in the shop and/or field as needed
