About The Position

The First Bank and Trust Company is seeking an Agricultural Credit Analyst to support the bank’s agricultural lending activities and to contribute to the overall credit quality of the bank. The Agricultural Credit Analyst will analyze a wide variety of financial and credit information, including personal and business financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, personal financial statements, credit reports, tax returns, accountant-prepared financial statements, and other relevant documentation. The Credit Analyst will also be responsible for providing complete, accurate and objective written reports presenting all financial information and summarizing the strengths and weaknesses of agricultural loan requests for use in the making of lending decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Agricultural, Business and/or Economics.
• Strong financial analysis and accounting skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Well organized.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in agricultural lending, credit analyst, financial analysis or financial services.

Responsibilities
