About The Position

Connected Logistics is seeking an Agile Software Engineer to support our Army RF-ITV program. The Agile Software Engineer will provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree with five (5) years’ experience or AA with seven (7) years’ experience
Experience in leading Agile development in complex environments
Knowledge of various Agile frameworks and methodologies
Ability to coach and influence teams and individuals at different levels of maturity and seniority
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
T3/ Secret eligibility

Nice To Haves

Certification in Agile Scrum software development methodology
Occasional travel to northern Virginia to participate during in-person Agile ceremonies (i.e. quarterly Program Increment Planning Events)
Knowledge of Solutions Business Manager (SBM) or other workflow tracking systems

Responsibilities

Participates as needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases.
Analyze business needs to identify new processes or process improvements that will meet those needs
Work as part of a cross-functional agile project team to help drive projects across the product design, development and testing
Perform detailed requirements analysis
Document processes
Perform user testing
Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Development Team, and Stakeholders to ensure that the product aligns with business needs
Establishing user stories that represent the overall scope of the project
Work with various stakeholders, such as product owners, developers, testers, managers, and executives
Coordinate with Government and program team to identify opportunities for Agile transformation from current Waterfall implementations
Participate in all Agile ceremonies
Coach and mentor teams and individuals on Agile values, principles, and practices
Help teams deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and expectations
Undertake daily follow-ups with individual team members to ensure projects are on track and goals are being met
Monitor and measure the progress and impact of Agile development using relevant metrics and tools
Support Agile team in determining resource allocations to maintain Agile practices and ensure smooth project delivery
Assist the product owner in establishing user stories from the requirement models created during business analysis
