About The Position

We are actively seeking a high-performing Agile Project Manager to support our GrantSolutions contract. This role will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a large-scale agile software development program, overseeing multiple workstreams across the full system development lifecycle, including UX/UI design and deployment activities (e.g., UAT, training, and rollout). The Agile Project Manager will drive schedule, scope, and resource management in an iterative environment, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budget. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for all project activities, providing leadership across 2+ Scrum teams and collaborating closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Technical Leads to ensure delivery success.

Requirements

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of EIGHT (8) years of experience supporting Agile software development programs.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale IT projects or complex technology initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from planning and design through implementation and post-production support.
  • Demonstrated leadership style grounded in coaching, mentorship, and team empowerment.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and other delivery methodologies, with a clear understanding of change management practices.
  • Experience applying core project management disciplines, including prioritization, team formation, and stakeholder alignment across multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to proactively identify and remove impediments in highly regulated, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong leadership presence with a team-first mindset and solution-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset - seeks to understand before optimizing processes, relationships, and outcomes.
  • Ability to balance urgency with long-term sustainability and program health.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels in both written and verbal formats.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to align delivery with strategic objectives, technology roadmaps, and emerging industry trends.
  • Experience with business process and workflow automation initiatives.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to operate effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project (or similar project management tools).

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred
  • Proven experience managing projects within large, complex organizations.
  • Experience managing federal or government IT programs.
  • Experience leading projects with a strong focus on user experience (UX).
  • PMP and/or Agile certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day management and coordination of a large-scale agile software program.
  • Oversee multiple workstreams across the full application development lifecycle.
  • Manage project financials, including monthly cost projections, EAC (Estimate at Completion), and ETC (Estimate to Complete).
  • Establish and monitor project schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly status reports for executive leadership and Federal stakeholders.
  • Maintain project artifacts, including risk registers, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards, agile best practices, and governance requirements.
  • Foster strong working relationships across teams, partners, and stakeholders to support program success.
