Agile Program Coordinator

IntramotevSt. Louis, MO
$80,000 - $100,000Onsite

About The Position

At Intramotev, we are dedicated to revolutionizing the freight industry by liberating tons of freight from congested highways, reducing carbon emissions, and enhancing transportation efficiency. We are deploying self-propelled battery-electric railcars and vehicles to transform freight logistics and bring innovation to our rail network. Based in St. Louis, MO, we are committed to promoting industrial revitalization, saving lives, and minimizing the environmental impact of trucking/transportation. We actively foster a work environment for every teammate that's welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunities for professional growth. Find your future with us. We are seeking an Agile Program Coordinator to own the sprint machinery behind the development of our self-propelled battery-electric railcars and vehicles. This role facilitates the full sprint cadence — planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives — across our four software teams, then extends a sprint-based planning format to the systems, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams, adapting it to hardware lead times and test cycles rather than copy-pasting software Scrum. This is a coordinator-tier individual contributor role that leads through facilitation and process, not authority: the successful candidate keeps Jira boards and backlogs legible, keeps cross-team dependencies aligned with vehicle-program deadlines, and reports sprint metrics directly to the Director of Engineering. This role reports to the Director of Engineering. This is a full-time, 100% in-office role based in St. Louis, MO — coordinating sprints across hardware and software teams means being on the floor with them. You'll work across software and hardware engineering teams of 3–10 engineers each and engage in occasional domestic travel for field-testing and integration events.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience coordinating Agile or technical projects — scrum facilitation, project coordination, or release/delivery coordination for engineering teams.
  • Working command of Scrum and Kanban fundamentals; you have personally run sprint ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives), not just attended them.
  • Hands-on experience administering boards and backlogs in Jira or an equivalent project-tracking tool.
  • Strong facilitation and written communication skills; comfortable keeping senior engineers on track without formal authority, with the follow-through to close blockers, action items, and retrospective outcomes rather than just log them.
  • Willingness to expand into technical areas beyond your area of expertise; ability to develop innovative and novel approaches.
  • Open-minded and comfortable working in a teaming environment as an individual contributor.
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English.
  • U.S. Person (immigration or work visa sponsorship will not be provided).

Nice To Haves

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification.
  • Multi-team Agile scaling approaches (SAFe, Scrum of Scrums, LeSS).
  • Experience in a hardware, manufacturing, or other physical-product engineering environment — anywhere sprints had to coexist with lead times and test stands.
  • An engineering or technical degree, or prior hands-on technical work.
  • Experience in directly applicable industry or projects, such as Rail, Electric Vehicle (EV), or Unmanned Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the full sprint cadence — planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives — across four software teams, keeping ceremonies lightweight and useful.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and shared milestones so the four software sprints stay aligned with vehicle-program deadlines.
  • Extend sprint-based planning to the systems, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams, adapting the format to hardware lead times and test cycles.
  • Own the health of boards and backlogs in Jira; keep epics, stories, and sprint goals current and legible for every team.
  • Track and report sprint metrics (velocity, burndown, carryover, blocker age) to the Director of Engineering; surface systemic impediments early.
  • Chase down blockers across teams and broker communication between software and hardware engineering rather than letting issues idle in standups.
  • Run retrospective follow-through and propose cadence and format changes grounded in what the teams actually need.

Benefits

  • Medical coverage: We cover 100% of employee medical premiums, plus low-cost dental and vision options.
  • Vacation: Full-time employees enjoy unlimited paid time off.
  • Equity: Full-time employees receive equity in the company.
  • Parental leave: New parents receive paid time off to spend quality time with their family.
  • A competitive relocation package based on candidate eligibility.
