About The Position

As a Scrum Master, you’re passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that’s modernizing critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need an experienced Scrum Master like you to create solutions that will advance our development teams and the critical missions they support. On our team, you’ll coach a development team to their highest performance level, while ensuring the Scrum project is successfully progressed. You’ll ensure Scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders. Using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Trello, you’ll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish sprint planning, backlog management, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. In this role, you’ll directly impact defense missions by using Agile processes and tools to organize and execute the Agile process for a software development or engineering team. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience serving as an Agile planner and Scrum Master on a software development or engineering team
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Agile tools
  • Knowledge of software development and development lifecycles
  • Ability to independently stand up and manage an Agile process for a development team, executing sprint planning, backlog management, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives using Agile tools
  • Ability to work closely with multiple groups of stakeholders to communicate complex technical concepts in non-technical terms, communicate challenges and risks, and make progress
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Agile Scrum Master or SAFe Certification
