About The Position

EmergeATS, a Kroll subsidiary, is seeking a senior Agile Developer specializing in microservices to support a Lockheed Martin program modernizing a legacy operational system with a microservices-based architecture and current technologies. The role designs, builds, tests, and delivers mission-critical microservice applications using Agile methods, collaborating with cross-functional teams on classified networks. Work is performed on-site in a SCIF at Fort Meade, Maryland. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. Direct employment with EmergeATS is required; sub-to-sub arrangements are not accepted. The developer will work with Java Spring Boot, Python, AWS-native services, REST APIs, CI/CD and DevOps tooling, search and NoSQL technologies, authentication and authorization patterns, and automated testing frameworks. The position also includes participation in Agile ceremonies, technical design discussions and code reviews, documentation, and providing guidance to less experienced team members. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline is specified, although four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted. A master's degree may substitute for two years of experience. The posting states a general requirement of 12+ years of professional software development experience, including microservices architecture and cloud-native development in DoD/IC classified environments; it also notes the prime's requirement of 9+ years with a bachelor's degree or 7+ years with a master's degree.
