About The Position

Security Clearance with Polygraph is required. This role is for a Seasoned Software Integration Engineer with proven experience building, debugging, and maintaining Java and Python based integration services on AWS. The engineer will take end-to-end responsibility for integration components, from design through production support, focusing on hands-on software development for integration or API-centric products. Direct experience building and maintaining services in AWS, including production monitoring, is essential.

Requirements

• Security Clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Java and Python programming languages.
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
• An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 7 years.
• Ability to support an on-call rotation.
• Systematic root cause analysis skills.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• End-to-end responsibility for integration components.
• Hands-on software development focused on integration or API-centric products.
• Direct experience building and maintaining services in AWS (including production monitoring) i.e. Lambda, OSS, Cloud Watch, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated ability to debug complex, cross language codebases (Java ↔ Python) under pressure (e.g., on call rotations).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with regular sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming.

Responsibilities

• Build, debug, and maintain Java and Python based integration services on AWS.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for integration components, from design through production support.
• Perform systematic root cause analysis, breaking down problems into reproducible steps and communicating findings clearly.
• Work effectively with the team, including reviewing MRs and providing constructive feedback.
• Support an on-call rotation.
• Monitor production services in AWS.
