About The Position

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Agile Developer 3 to support modernization of a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and modern technologies. The role focuses on microservices development, REST services, and CI/CD implementation within an Agile delivery environment.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 9 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with at least two of the following: Java, Spring Boot, or Python; microservice architectures; CI/CD tools including AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, and Docker; NoSQL or MongoDB query and schema design; OAuth/OIDC implementation; test frameworks and automation including Playwright and Cucumber.
• Master's degree with 7 years of experience or PhD with 7 years of experience, as listed in the education and experience equivalency section.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java Spring Boot-based microservice applications using AWS native technologies.
• Build Spring REST services that filter and select complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD principles using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.
• Support Agile software development and delivery.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
