About The Position

The Agile Developer will help modernize a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and contemporary technologies. The role involves developing Java Spring Boot microservices, using AWS-native technologies, implementing REST services that filter and select complex data objects, and applying CI/CD practices. The developer will work within an agile software development and delivery process and collaborate with teammates and stakeholders. The position also includes analyzing, designing, verifying, validating, implementing, applying, and maintaining software systems; developing documentation and training; and presenting briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and hold an active TS/SCI security clearance with a full-scope polygraph. Requirements

Active TS/SCI security clearance with full-scope polygraph.
U.S. citizenship.
Bachelor’s degree plus 9 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
An associate’s degree plus 11 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus 13 years of experience, may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience clearly related to the position.
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university; the degree may be waived for technical experience in the domain skillsets outlined in the requisition.
Proficiency in the software development process.
Programming capability.
Ability to practice software quality using tools and processes.
Ability to develop software solutions and design, develop, and modify code to support system requirements.
Capabilities may be waived based on in-depth experience clearly related to the position.

Write Java Spring Boot-based microservice applications using AWS-native technologies.
