About The Position

Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The Microservices Developer will write Java Spring Boot microservice applications using AWS native technologies, build REST services with Spring, and support CI/CD and Agile software delivery.

Requirements

• 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• TS/SCI Clearance - Polygraph required within 7 years

Nice To Haves

• Java, Spring boot or python
• Microservice architectures
• CI/CD tools: AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitOps
• Database: NoSQL / MongoDB query and schema design
• OAuth/OIDC implementation experience
• Test frameworks and automation including Playwright and Cucumber

Responsibilities

• Writing Java Spring Boot microservice applications using AWS native technologies.
• Building REST services with Spring to filter and select complex data objects.
• Implementing CI/CD using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.
• Agile development and delivery of software.
• Communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to support an on-call rotation.
