About The Position

This individual is responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient repair of aggregate machinery and components at high levels of quality on equipment including, conveyors, screens, feeders, compression crushers, impact crushers, generators, washing equipment, and mobile track equipment.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the aggregate industry
Class A CDL or the ability to obtain
Welding/fabrication experience helpful
Must have own hand tools, up to and including a ¾ drive set
Excellent customer service skills both internal and external as a representative of General Equipment
Organizational skills with ability to effectively manage multiple projects
Willing to travel as there may be occasional overnight field service work

Nice To Haves

Basic testing knowledge of all machine systems

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot problems on aggregate equipment accurately and perform field repairs with minimal supervision
Measure and replace crusher wear parts and screen cloth accurately and independently
Perform thorough and accurate inspections of various aggregate equipment and perform maintenance as directed by manufacturer specifications
Attend manufacturer training sessions and internal training courses put on by GES Technical Trainers
Perform rebuilds on aggregate equipment components and systems
Perform customer equipment startups while explaining proper use, maintenance and warranty procedures
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment
Maintain and care for shop tools, equipment, and vehicles
Complete all paperwork required for jobs
Maintain DOT compliance and proficiently use and understand electronic logbook system
May perform other duties as directed by Service Management
