About The Position

The Aggregate Production Operator I is responsible for transporting materials to and from stockpiles to support continuous and efficient Aggregate Production operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining material flow across the site while upholding BARD’s safety, quality, and operational standards. The ideal candidate enjoys operating and maintaining heavy equipment, strives to maximize productivity, and is able to visualize instructions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior haul truck (or other large mobile equipment) experience preferred
  • Previous experience in open pit mining operations and aggregate products a plus
  • Ability to learn stockpile and plant flow
  • CDL License preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate dump truck to transport finished products from the plant to the proper area/stockpile(s) as directed
  • Maintain awareness of changing site conditions, traffic patterns, and safety hazards.
  • Utilize equipment in a manner to maximize productivity
  • Operate other mobile plant equipment as needed (ie. Loader) in accordance to specification without damage
  • Perform daily truck inspections, as well as identify and assist in correcting any issues
  • Report mechanical or maintenance issues with equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Abide by MSHA regulations as specified in MSHA handbook
  • Listens to direction and follows instruction accordingly
  • Assist with additional site or production duties as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Serve as a BARD Brand Ambassador by maintaining professionalism and acting in accordance with all company core values
