Requirements

1+ year of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in an aggregate or mining environment.
Familiarity with loaders, crushers, or screeners preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
Ability to work independently or as part of a production team.
Valid driver’s license required; equipment certifications are a plus.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including loaders, crushers, screeners, and haul trucks at aggregate production sites.
Feed raw material into crushing and screening equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor material flow, adjust machine settings, and ensure final product meets quality standards.
Perform pre-shift inspections, routine equipment maintenance, and report mechanical issues.
Work in close coordination with plant supervisors, truck drivers, and ground personnel.
Follow strict safety protocols, company policies, and environmental regulations.
Assist with general labor tasks such as shoveling, cleanup, and equipment adjustments as needed.
