About The Position

This role involves performing clean-up duties at the Agg plant, operating equipment such as loaders and skid steers, greasing belts, moving belts, and conducting general preventative maintenance activities like lubrication and inspections. The position also requires completing safety, health, and task training, meeting employment and position requirements, reading and using operator's manuals, filling out pre-shift inspection forms, and following oral and written instructions. The employee must have knowledge of machine mechanics and relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. The role may involve assisting other workers and performing other tasks as assigned by supervision.

Requirements

Have knowledge of machine mechanics
Know safety, environmental and other federal, state and local regulations needed for the job
Safely complete other assigned training
Safely meet the supervisor’s standards of performance
Ability to sit; walk (including on uneven surfaces); climb stairs (multiple levels/floors) and ladders; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arm; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell
Ability to occasionally stand
Ability to work on occasion at heights
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Ability to work near moving mechanical parts
Ability to work in high, precarious places
Ability to work in outside weather conditions
Ability to work with explosives
Ability to work in wet and or humid conditions

Responsibilities

Clean up at the Agg plant
