About The Position

Our marketing team already runs on AI. Now we're looking for someone to take it further — from AI-assisted to agent-operated. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, we're hiring an Agentic Operator to design, run, and improve AI agents that handle marketing workflows across content, lead enrichment, campaign operations, and growth experimentation. This isn't a coding role. You won't build agents from scratch — you'll configure them using different platforms and prompt engineering, so they run reliably at scale. You're the operator who turns "this should be automated" into "this is automated, monitored, and getting better every week." If you're an AI-forward marketer who thinks in systems, loves building workflows, and gets a kick out of watching agents do the work — this is the role for you.

Requirements

  • Have 3+ years in marketing operations, growth ops, or marketing automation, ideally with hands-on time in tools like HubSpot, Clay, Segment, or similar.
  • Are an obsessive AI user — you live in ChatGPT/Claude, you've built things in n8n or Zapier, you've already automated parts of your own day.
  • Think in systems, not tasks — when you see a repetitive workflow, you instinctively map it as inputs, steps, outputs, and decision points.
  • Are structured and patient — you understand that getting an agent to work reliably is 10% setup and 90% iteration.
  • Communicate clearly, document what you build, and don't wait to be told what to fix next.
  • Can experiment cheaply and tolerate a high failure rate when feedback loops are tight.
  • Have the full legal right to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with marketing systems like HubSpot, Segment, Amplitude, Salesforce, or similar GTM platforms.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and no-code agent platforms (Clay, Lindy, Make, n8n).
  • Some comfort with APIs and basic technical concepts — you don't need to code, but should be able to follow technical discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify marketing workflows worth automating and turn them into running agents — across content, campaigns, lead enrichment, channel optimization, and creative testing.
  • Configure agents using existing platforms (Clay, Lindy, n8n, Zapier, HubSpot AI, OpenAI/Claude APIs) — no code required, but structured thinking essential.
  • Write the prompts, design the flows, and build the training data that make agents reliable and accurate.
  • Monitor agent output, spot failures and quality dips, and iterate fast on prompts and workflows.
  • Partner with engineering and Customer Ops when something needs deeper technical lifting (custom integrations, infrastructure).
  • Document what you build so the rest of the marketing team can use, trust, and contribute to your agents.
  • Stay close to the cutting edge of AI tooling — new platforms, prompt techniques, agent capabilities — and bring useful patterns into our workflows.
