About The Position

AG Consulting Partners is hiring an Agentic Developer for a W2 consulting engagement supporting a high-visibility enterprise client’s AI transformation. The client is investing in workflow automation and agentic development to accelerate its software development lifecycle. The developer will join an existing four-person delivery team and build production-ready, scalable agents in code for use across the organization—not merely personal productivity tools. The role combines hands-on development with stakeholder communication, consulting, and adoption support in a fast-paced environment where initiative and comfort with ambiguity are important. The consultant will design, build, and deploy agents and reusable workflows using Microsoft Foundry and Azure, accounting for identity and access, observability, evaluation, guardrails, and cost control. They will work with shared Azure DevOps repositories, pull requests, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code; collaborate with client development and QA teams; and translate stakeholder use cases into production-ready automation. They will also partner with change management and AI governance teams, support pilots and user feedback, help establish post-launch support and ownership, and communicate progress and trade-offs to technical and executive stakeholders. The engagement is planned for three months, with potential extension depending on performance and budget. The position has a hybrid schedule in Issaquah, Washington, with up to four in-office days per week. Annualized compensation is $85,000–$150,000, based on experience and alignment to the role. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship and extensions are not available.

  • Ability to work independently in high-visibility consulting environments.
  • Enterprise-level full-time employee experience or consulting experience supporting enterprise organizations.
  • Strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript.

  • Ability to build solutions and explain the rationale to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience creating technical documentation to onboard users with little or no experience using agents.
  • Authorization to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship and extensions are unavailable.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI agents, Copilot, generative AI workflows, or enterprise AI implementations.
  • Microsoft ecosystem experience.
  • Experience supporting governance models, intake processes, and rollout planning.
  • Familiarity with Power Apps, Azure automation tools, or low-code enterprise solutions.

  • Work with the existing developer and delivery team using shared Azure DevOps repositories, pull requests, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
