•$110,000 - $150,000•Hybrid

About The Position

AG Consulting Partners is seeking an Agentic Developer for a high-visibility enterprise AI transformation focused on workflow automation and agentic development across the software development lifecycle. The consultant will join an existing developer and a four-person delivery team to build production-ready, scalable agents in code for broad organizational use—not just personal productivity—and help ensure users adopt them. The role calls for strong technical execution, initiative, comfort with ambiguity, consulting instincts, and clear communication with business and technical stakeholders. The work includes building and deploying enterprise agents on Microsoft Foundry and Azure, with identity and access, observability, evaluation, guardrails, and cost control considered from the outset. The developer will create reusable agent and workflow templates, translate business processes and stakeholder use cases into production-ready automation, and work alongside client development and QA teams. The team uses shared repositories in Azure DevOps, pull requests, code review, Agile ceremonies, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code. The consultant will also support adoption through pilot programs, user feedback, continuous improvement, and collaboration with change management and AI governance teams. Responsibilities include helping define support models, escalation paths, and post-launch ownership, as well as communicating progress and trade-offs to technical leaders and executives. This is a W2 consulting engagement supporting a three-month client project, with potential for extension depending on performance and budget. The role is hybrid in Issaquah, Washington, with up to four in-office days per week. Annualized compensation is $110,000–$150,000, based on experience and alignment. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship and extensions are unavailable.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in workflow automation, systems implementation, technical consulting, or solution engineering.
  • Strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on Azure experience, including Azure DevOps and Microsoft Foundry.
  • Experience shipping production agents or LLM-powered applications used by many people.
  • Experience working in Agile teams, including code review, shared repositories, and handoffs.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power Platform, workflow automation, or agent-based solution design.
  • Experience building production-ready automation solutions, rather than only providing strategy recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business process mapping skills.
  • Ability to build solutions and explain the rationale to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience creating technical documentation to onboard users with little or no agent experience.
  • Ability to operate independently in high-visibility consulting environments.
  • Enterprise-level FTE experience or consulting experience supporting enterprise organizations is required.
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship and extensions are not available.

Nice To Haves

  • Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform (HCL) or Bicep.
  • Experience with C#, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Power Automate, or Copilot Studio.
  • Experience with agent evaluation, tool integrations such as MCP, or multi-agent orchestration.
  • Experience with AI agents, Copilot, generative AI workflows, or enterprise AI implementations.
  • Microsoft ecosystem experience.
  • Experience supporting governance models, intake processes, and rollout planning.
  • Familiarity with Power Apps, Azure automation tools, or low-code enterprise solutions.

  • Design AI-driven solutions for business processes and operational pain points.

  • Test, validate, and stage deployments through CI/CD using infrastructure as code.
  • Translate stakeholder use cases into scalable automation strategies and production-ready solutions.
  • Work with client development and QA teams to refine and optimize agents.
  • Partner with change management and AI governance teams to support adoption readiness.
  • Support pilots, user feedback loops, and continuous improvement.
  • Help define support models, escalation paths, and post-go-live ownership.
