About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting the ASB Life Agents through backoffice case design support and field training requests. Drive to increase issued sales by custom designing Life Insurance packages for the clients’ specific needs and educating the agents on Life products and best practices. Key Goals: 1. Help improve the challenges with existing submitted to issue ratios. Improve the percentage gap between the number of applications submitted and applications issued by designing strong LIFE packages. 2. Increase sales in Life Insurance to the Senior Market through educating the agents on key products via virtual and face to face. Educate advanced agents to look for opportunities to market these the ‘second to die spouse’ products.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of the Life Insurance industry and product knowledge
  • Ability to support agents in virtual group and one on one training sessions.
  • Self-motivated
  • Critical thinker
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of expertise of Microsoft Office Suite with special focus on Word, Excel and PowerPoint (graphing, presentation building and spreadsheet development)
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally in person and virtually.
  • Other relatable tasks as required.
  • Required to work in a field office and/or home office three days a week. Tuesday and Wednesday are required employee days in the home office.
  • Able to travel to ASB offices and events as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education, skill, and experience.
  • 2-3 years of LIFE Case Design experience required
  • Appropriate Life Certifications and Licenses
  • Experience using iPipeline and Winflex

Responsibilities

  • Ability to run Illustrations and utilize Life Insurance for retirement distribution planning.
  • Solid understanding of Life Insurance products for business owners and clients with High Net Worth.
  • Proactively disseminate product updates and other competitive information to agents and agencies.
  • Ability to design simple to complex Life Insurance Cases, using rider enhancements.
  • Strong agent support
  • Ability to confidently train on product knowledge, compliance and concept changes across multiple carriers.
