About The Position

Position Overview:The primary responsibility of the Agent – Luggage is to transport guest luggage to and from their assigned room while selling the hotel services and features to our guests. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures. This is a safety-related position.

Requirements

21 years of age.
Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
High school diploma.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Driver’s License and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
1 year of experience as a Luggage Agent or Bellman in a hotel or resort.
Current DMV report.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Create a delightful arrival and departure experience, which includes escorting guests to their destination, handling, delivering and storing guest luggage when needed in order to create an overall satisfactory experience for the guest.
Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
Identify and explain hotel and suite facilities and features to guests.
Must be familiar with and able to demonstrate the guest room technology upon guest arrival.
Drive House Cars in order to complete off property requests by guests and/or management.
Safety is an essential function of this job.
Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
