Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or insurance (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Confidence in making outbound calls and closing sales
  • A willingness to learn and take coaching
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license (preferred, or willingness to obtain)

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual skills (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Generating new business by identifying and reaching out to prospects, and converting leads into policies
  • Conducting client consultations to evaluate insurance needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Selling and cross-selling insurance products such as Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial lines
  • Building and sustaining strong client relationships through ongoing support and regular policy reviews
  • Meeting and surpassing personal sales goals to help drive agency growth
  • Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and ensuring compliance
  • Utilizing CRM systems to manage leads, follow-up activities, and policy renewals
  • Participating in team meetings and collaborative sales strategy sessions
