About The Position

The Program Success Path Coordinator executes complex tasks associated with the development and execution of the College's administrative and teaching programs, in accordance with the needs assessment of client groups, both inside and outside the College. The incumbent offers a range of administrative support services to the management of a large division or functional service of the College. They provide administrative support for major College activities and projects and assume overall responsibility for all or key components of these projects or activities. They coordinate project or activity-related tasks, advise students and clients, respond to inquiries, follow up on them, and provide functional direction to staff members involved in the project or activity. The incumbent identifies improvements to administrative and operational communications and activities. Liaison functions are usually proactive in nature.

Requirements

  • Three-year diploma in business administration or a related field.
  • At least two years of relevant experience.
  • Mastery of spoken and written French and good knowledge of spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of the College's programs and organizational structure to answer general inquiries, and understanding of directives and procedures.
  • Knowledge of computer tools and related software (word processing, spreadsheets).
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and initiative.
  • Experience in consulting, project development, and management.
  • Ability to evaluate various files.
  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Compile the data and statistics required for departmental reports.
  • Provide the data necessary for decision-making and determining the best course of action.
  • Meet user needs by coordinating the administrative details of projects.
  • Compile and analyze data to make recommendations regarding the course of action to be taken.
  • Prepare operational plans and schedules.
  • Control program and activity expenses in accordance with the College's financial directives.
  • Represent the College in its relations with the public by participating in relevant activities.
  • As needed, provide training to other staff members, coordinate their activities, and ensure their supervision.
  • Conduct research and prepare presentations and reports to communicate and support the College's plans and objectives.
  • Provide functional advice and direction to other staff members.
  • Analyze the needs of internal and external community groups and develop programs to meet those needs.
  • Liaise with government agencies in the administration of projects.
  • Promote the College's capabilities within the community.
  • Develop detailed training programs to ensure initial objectives are met.
