About The Position

Join Merchants Bonding Company as our Summer 2027 Agency Services Intern! In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day processes that help agents and agencies work effectively with Merchants. You’ll gain hands-on experience in agency operations, compliance, and documentation while working as part of a collaborative team. Requirements

  • Strong Academic Performance and Relevant Coursework: A proven commitment to excellence through your academic achievements, including coursework relevant to the role, such as Business Administration, Risk Management & Insurance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Help new agents and agencies get set up and licensed to work with Merchants by assisting with onboarding and compliance reviews.
  • Review agent and agency documentation for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Help research state insurance laws and licensing requirements for agents and agencies.
  • Review, document, and update Agency Services processes to ensure procedures are clear and current.
  • Maintain accurate licensing information, assist with data cleanup, and update reference materials.
  • Collaborate with the team on cross-functional initiatives and special projects.
