About The Position

The Driver License Examiner (DLE) Recruitment and Salary Administrator position will serve as the main recruitment and salary coordinator for all Driver License Examiners within Department of Motor Vehicles. The selected candidate will ensure that all postings, both regular and Evergreen postings, are accurate and screened within a timely manner. This position is responsible for reviewing all applications to determine whether they are minimally qualified, most qualified, or not qualified based on OSHR’s requirements. The DLE Recruitment and Salary Administrator will complete the hiring packets, review equity, determine promotional priority, and provide communication to DMV HR leadership, as well as DMV management. The majority of this position’s daily tasks will be completed using Workday as well as Fiori, the State’s HRIS system. The selected candidate will ensure all new hire, promotions, transfers, and reinstatement actions are in compliance with NC DOT’s payroll schedule. The DLE Recruitment and Salary Administrator will be responsible for making sure all OSHR and NC DOT onboarding forms are completed in Workday and the postings are closed correctly. This position is based in Rocky Mount, NC and the selected candidate must report to the office for the first 90 days of employment, then telework will be discussed with management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution and 2 years of experience required; or High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system to screen job applications for minimal qualifications
  • Experience using Fiori/BEACON to enter, review and/or retrieve employee data
  • Experience applying OSHR salary administration policies
  • Experience running BOBJ reports in Fiori/BEACON
  • Experience providing direct customer service to job applicants
