About The Position
This position is for an Ag Teacher. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, a valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements, or equivalent training and experience under the District of Innovation Plan. Demonstrated competency in agricultural science is essential. The teacher will be responsible for instructing students, managing their behavior, and supervising agricultural field experiences. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI)
- Demonstrated competency in agricultural science
- Knowledge of agricultural science and technology
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Ability to supervise agricultural field experiences
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience preferred
