The Ag Equipment Operator's primary objective is to provide quality, efficient, and safe custom application of crop nutrients and protection products. This role also involves operating and maintaining location equipment and facilities for the benefit of IAS and its member owners. The position requires reporting to the assigned workplace on time, maintaining necessary licenses and physicals, and performing professional custom application of agricultural products. Accurate and timely submission of application paperwork, along with performing repairs and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, are key responsibilities. The operator will also be involved in the operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities within the region, assisting with product distribution and grain handling when assigned, and notifying management of needed shop tools, supplies, or replacement parts. Maintaining cleanliness of work areas, participating in training, following safety policies, and projecting a positive image to customers and the community are also expected. The role may involve other assigned duties as directed by the location manager.
