The Ag Equipment Operator provides quality, efficient, and safe custom application of crop nutrients and protection products. This role is also responsible for operating and maintaining location equipment and facilities for the benefit of IAS and its member owners. The operator is expected to report to their assigned workplace on time, maintain necessary licenses and physicals, and professionally apply crop nutrients and protection products. Accurate and timely submission of application paperwork is required, along with performing repairs and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, documenting all work. The role involves operating and maintaining equipment and facilities within the region, assisting with product distribution and grain handling when assigned, and notifying management of needed shop tools, supplies, or replacement parts. Maintaining cleanliness of shop and warehouse areas, participating in training, and following company policies regarding safety and conduct are also key responsibilities. The operator must create a positive, professional image to customers and the community and be willing to accept other assigned duties.
