About The Position

Skyhawks Sports is launching a new partnership with Valor Classical Academy in Kuna, ID, and is seeking both a Coach and a Director for their Fall youth sports programs. This role involves leading or overseeing small groups of children in age-appropriate, skill-based soccer and flag football sessions. The position aims to introduce children to organized sports, build their confidence, and foster genuine relationships with participants, parents, and school staff. Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to representing Skyhawks and the Valor partnership positively are essential. This is a ground-floor opportunity with potential for growth into future programs in Kuna, South Meridian, and the wider Treasure Valley area.

Requirements

• Lives in South Meridian or Kuna, or can commute there reliably every Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Can confirm availability for Tuesday and Wednesday sessions from 3:30-4:30 PM, plus commute and 15-30 minutes for setup/teardown, through mid-November.
• Reliability and ability to follow through.
• A coaching heart is required.
• For the Director role: Prior leadership, program management, or coordination experience.
• Comfortable being the face of a brand new partnership at Valor Classical Academy.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead or oversee small groups of kids through age-appropriate, skill-based soccer and flag football sessions using Skyhawks' proven curriculum.
• Introduce many of these kids to organized sports for the first time, and help them walk away more confident than when they arrived.
• Build genuine relationships with the kids in your program and the parents and school staff who trust you with them.
• Show up prepared and on time, every session, including setup and teardown, without exception.
• Represent Skyhawks and this new Valor partnership with reliability that opens the door to more.
• For the Director role: Oversee the Valor partnership as a whole, including coach scheduling and support, communication with Valor staff and families, ensuring program quality, and helping to build out future offerings.
• For the Director role: Be the face of a brand new partnership at Valor Classical Academy.
