About The Position

Heathwood Hall Episcopal School is seeking caring, energetic, and reliable part-time staff members for its afterschool program. The program serves children ages 2 to 14 in a safe, fun, and engaging environment. Requirements

• Previous experience in child care
• Team player
• Flexibility with availability and assignment
• Ability to take direction and work well with others
• Strong communication skills
• Criminal Background Check
• May require additional work clearance processes

Responsibilities

• Creating a safe, caring learning environment for students after school
• Maintaining a structured schedule that includes time for snack, homework assistance, fun activity, and free time
• Taking attendance
• Keeping detailed sign-out records to ensure students are picked up by an approved individual
• Preparing snacks
• Planning activities and crafts
• Supervising and engaging with students and ensuring a safe, positive environment
