About The Position

Black Rocket is seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and talented individuals to work as seasonal supervisors for their technology programs. This role involves supervising instructors, interacting with students, parents, and program directors, and ensuring the smooth operation of after-school enrichment programs focused on technology and digital arts. The company emphasizes self-empowerment, cognitive reasoning, and divergent thinking through hands-on learning, aiming to ignite and enhance distinct talents in children and young adults. This is a seasonal position requiring approximately 15-25 hours per week for the entire school year, following local school district schedules. Black Rocket provides training for this role, which may require availability on some evenings and weekends.

Requirements

Experience managing adults, preferably in an education setting
Experience managing schedules or planning events
K-12 school experience ideal
Comfortable with a range of technology
Reliable transportation to multiple sites within your region throughout the day
Strong problem-solving skills
Knowledge of effective instructional practices
Comfortable giving feedback to and evaluating teachers
Able to commit to the whole school year
Available to start training immediately
Comfortable traveling throughout the Elk Grove Unified School District, including multiple school sites in a day/week

Nice To Haves

Completed or working towards supervisor or principal certification
Classroom experience
Strong tech background

Responsibilities

Supervise instructors
