About The Position
Sistema Utah is partnered with American Preparatory Academy to offer music classes after school at Title I schools. Patterned after the El Sistema movement that originated in Venezuela, it is our hope to empower our students for social change. As a Sistema employee/teacher you will be teaching groups of children ages K-6 elements of music while introducing them to the great music compositions.
Requirements
- Passion to teach general music for after school music program
- Ability to teach children ages K-6 elements of music
- Ability to introduce students to great music compositions
Nice To Haves
- College music degree
- Suzuki Method teacher training
