About The Position
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for teaching general music for our after-school music program. Sistema Utah is partnered with American Preparatory Academy to offer music classes for free to under-resourced students. Patterned after the El Sistema movement that originated in Venezuela, it is our hope to empower our students for social change.
Requirements
- A college music degree and Suzuki Method teacher training is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Teach groups of children in grades 1-4 elements of music while introducing them to the great music compositions.
