About The Position

The Aftermarket Specialist position at O’Brien Equipment involves being the primary contact for customers seeking parts or services. This role requires current product and services knowledge to effectively answer questions, provide recommendations, and offer solutions. Ongoing training is provided to stay current with product knowledge and software. Responsibilities include generating quotes, maintaining customer contact information, processing orders, submitting project paperwork, communicating with factories, managing ship product defects or warranty issues, and tracking stocked parts inventory for the Nashville office. The role also involves performing general office housekeeping tasks and requires the ability to perform duties with limited supervision. Other duties within the reasonable scope of the position may also be assigned.

  • Participate in ongoing training for product knowledge and software.
  • Generate quotes for products and services.
  • Communicate with customers in a timely manner and follow up on sales efforts.
  • Maintain customer contacts and sales efforts professionally for recall accuracy and reference.
  • Process orders and submit required project paperwork.
  • Communicate with factories.
  • Manage any ship product defects or warranty issues.
  • Track and maintain stocked parts inventory for the Nashville office.
  • Perform general office housekeeping tasks as needed.
  • Perform position requirements with limited supervision.
  • Undertake other duties falling within the reasonable scope of the position.
