About The Position

This business-to-business sales position is responsible for the sale of contract maintenance programs for material handling equipment and catalog parts sales. The role involves pursuing new business and developing key existing accounts in an assigned territory. You will analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships through cold calls, presentations, and following up on leads. The position requires developing sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts, as well as conducting product demonstrations and sales presentations. You will also prepare quotations, cost reports, performance reports, and customer correspondence. A territory management plan is essential to maximize customer interaction for new business acquisition and customer retention by monitoring satisfaction. Utilizing online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information is also a key part of the role. You will discuss sales activities with management.

Requirements

  • Less than 2 years related experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalency.
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours to prepare for sales activities.

  • Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program, or several years of successful sales experience a plus.
  • Possess several years of successful sales experience; business to business (B2B) experience; problem solving capabilities; strong sense of urgency, responsibility, and self -motivation; and the ability to work in a team environment.
