This role reports directly to the Director, Aftermarket Operations FMC and is responsible for all aspects of the aftermarket repair station including resource management, training, FAA compliance, work scheduling, and process standardization. The role will drive the implementation of continuous improvement projects to improve key operational metrics and develop a high performance culture. Obtain results by collaborating with other functions, including Quality, Engineering, and Customer Service. Improve efficiency of repair station production processes, such as confirmation testing, tear down, assembly, and final testing. Responsible for the quality and productivity of the Repair Station. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the Continuous Improvement culture. Strategically work with and interact with Upper and Divisional Aftermarket Business Managers. Increase employee engagement and focus on accountability to create a high-performing culture. Improve the velocity of material moving through the Repair Station. Conduct product audits to verify compliance with Component Maintenance Manuals and other work instructions, which are essential for maintaining FAA and Customer approval.
