The Aftermarket Project Manager for Weiler Labeling Systems provides quotation and project management support for aftermarket projects, upgrades, and applications on equipment installed in customer facilities. This role ensures successful execution of projects from concept and quotation through implementation, delivering solutions that meet customer requirements while adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Are you passionate about this work? Review customer requests and specifications for upgrade and retrofit projects on installed equipment. Develop and propose equipment modifications or enhancements to create aftermarket upgrade opportunities. Collaborate with Engineering and Field Service to validate feasibility and identify risks. Obtain engineering evaluations for non-standard items and secure quotes from third-party suppliers as needed. Prepare detailed technical documentation and quotations for proposals. Ensure all projects are thoroughly documented to facilitate clear communication and information transfer. Confirm pricing aligns with WLS structure and obtain approval before sending quotations to Sales or customers. Manage projects from order receipt through installation and commissioning, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget goals are met. Schedule and lead project kick-off meetings with internal teams and customers. Track milestones, budgets, and deliverables; provide regular status updates. Coordinate engineering change orders and maintain proper documentation. Identify and mitigate project risks proactively. Serve as the primary technical and project liaison for aftermarket projects. Requirements

  • BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field, or substantial relevant experience in a similar role.
  • 3+ years expeerience in machinery applications, automation, or packaging equipment.
  • Project Management certification preferred.
  • Experience managing capital projects or aftermarket upgrades.
  • Solid understanding of machinery applications and packaging technology preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word).
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity and strong personal accountability and efficient detail management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proven experience managing technical projects in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Some travel required (US and International) to support periodic sales efforts and trade shows

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with pharmaceutical or food cGMP standards is a plus.
