About The Position

This role involves designing and delivering creative, age-appropriate curriculum for K-5 students, championing their physical, emotional, and developmental growth. The Aftercare Teacher will maintain a safe, energetic, and fun classroom environment, build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, and serve as a role model by demonstrating warmth and curiosity.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: MSDE 90-hour School-Age Certification, or a CDA with School-Age Endorsement
• 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of child development and instructional strategies
• Knowledge of MSDE regulations
• A warm, friendly, and cool-tempered presence
• Solid communication skills — verbal and written
• Rock-solid reliability and punctuality
• Highly organized, able to juggle priorities and multitask
• A true team player who genuinely enjoys working with others
