About The Position

The After-School Yoga Facilitator teaches fun, energetic classes for younger and beginner-level children ages 5–10 at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. Classes are held Monday–Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Coaches typically teach one approximately one-hour class per day, with the possibility of an additional 30 minutes of pre-care. The position is part-time, generally 2–5 hours per week, and pays $50–$65 per session. Equipment and lesson plans are provided. Coaches must have reliable transportation and be available to work in person locally. Before starting, the facilitator must attend a two-day training or shadowing session and complete the required screening steps.

Requirements

Must be at least 19 years old upon application.
Must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
Must enjoy working with children in a positive and active setting.
Must be flexible, reliable, and punctual.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work.
Must send a photo and short biography for the company website, introducing their experience in sports.
Applicants must already be eligible to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the sport being applied for, coaching, or working with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
Manage classes of 8–16 students and maintain a positive environment.
Attend a two-day training or shadowing session before starting.
Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents and school staff.
Capture a few class photos for documentation.
