About The Position

Facilitate after-school yoga sessions for elementary-school children ages 5–10, including beginner-level students. Programs take place at multiple schools across the Bay Area and are conducted in person, Monday through Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Coaches typically teach one approximately one-hour class per day, with the possibility of an additional 30 minutes of pre-care. This is a part-time role of 2–5 hours per week. Pay is listed as $50–$65 per session and also as $50–$65 per hour. The company provides all equipment and requires a two-day training or shadowing session before work begins. Candidates must live locally, have reliable transportation, and already be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 19 years old when applying.
Must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be flexible, reliable, and punctual.
Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.
Must already be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the sport being applied for, coaching, or working with children is preferred but not required.
Enjoyment of working with children in a positive and active setting.

Responsibilities

Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
Manage classes of 8–16 students and maintain a positive environment.
Attend a two-day training or shadowing session before starting.
Take attendance and manage student sign-ins.
Interact with parents and school staff.
Capture a few class photos for documentation.
Send a photo and short biography for the company website, including an introduction to sports experience.
