About The Position

Spring Education Group’s Early Childhood Education Division includes nearly 150 schools offering services from infant care through Pre-K/K programs, as well as summer camp and after-school programs. Our locations span a nationwide geographic footprint and a diverse array of pedagogical approaches — including our proprietary Links to Learning curriculum that draws from the collective expertise of renowned early-age educators such as Dewey, Piaget and Vygotsky; Montessori schools that embrace both accredited Montessori methods – AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) and AMS (American Montessori Society); and progressive language immersion programs in Mandarin and Spanish. Bethesda Country Day School (BCDS) is seeking qualified Child Care Teacher to join our School Age After-School Program. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
A passion for early learning, creativity, and helping children discover new skills each day.
Authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

Design and implement interactive, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Foster a warm and consistent classroom routine that helps toddlers feel secure and confident.
Build positive partnerships with families through open, ongoing communication.
Work collaboratively with co-teachers and school leaders to ensure an exceptional learning experience.
