About The Position

Discovery Kidzone is hiring energetic, dependable, and fun-loving After School Teachers and Drivers for the 2026–2027 school year beginning in August. We’re looking for team members who bring positive energy, enjoy working with children, and can help create a safe, exciting, and engaging environment after school each day. Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid driver’s license required
Clean driving record required
Comfortable driving a 14-passenger van/bus
Ability to actively engage with children indoors and outdoors
CPR Certification within 30 days of hire
Completion of all state licensing requirements and trainings

Nice To Haves

No experience necessary — paid training provided
Reliable, upbeat, and patient personality
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stay calm and positive in a fast-paced environment
Passion for working with children and creating meaningful experiences

Responsibilities

Safely transport children to and from local schools and activities
Create a fun, welcoming, and engaging after school environment
Supervise children and ensure safety at all times
Lead games, outdoor play, creative activities, and hands-on learning experiences
Encourage positive social interactions and conflict resolution
Support children’s independence, confidence, and self-esteem
Assist with snacks, bathroom routines, and diapering/toileting when needed
Communicate professionally with families and team members
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
Collaborate with coworkers to create a positive team culture
