About The Position

After School Support Staff are responsible for guiding the development of young people in grades K-5, ensuring a safe, enriching and healthy environment while utilizing the resources and supplies for the program. Instructors will also be responsible for having positive engagement with and providing excellent service to all families and program participants. This role requires someone who is fun, engaging, welcoming, nurturing, early/punctual, reliable, takes being a role model seriously, is creative and innovative, and can thrive in a loud, disordered environment. The ability to have challenging conversations, such as communicating with parents or mediating conflict amongst peers, is also essential.
