About The Position

After School Support Staff are responsible for guiding the development of young people in grades K-5, ensuring a safe, enriching and healthy environment while utilizing the resources and supplies for the program. Instructors will also be responsible for having positive engagement with and providing excellent service to all families and program participants. The ideal candidate will be fun, engaging, welcoming, nurturing, early/punctual, reliable, take being a role model seriously, be creative and innovative, and have the ability to thrive in a loud, disordered environment. They should also possess the ability to have challenging conversations, such as those required to communicate with parents, or to mediate conflict amongst peers (including willingness to speak up).
