About The Position

Eager Enrichment is hiring instructors to lead engaging, hands-on after-school STEM classes for elementary students in Grades 1–5. Instructors use provided lesson plans and materials, including LEGO®, K'NEX®, Blocs, and other engineering materials, to guide students through building challenges that encourage creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving. The role serves locations in Gahanna/Jefferson on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Classes begin at 2:40 p.m. and are scheduled for weekday afternoons from January through May 2027. Pay is $40 per one-hour class, and paid local training, curriculum, lesson plans, materials, and ongoing support are provided. This part-time role may suit people seeking meaningful supplemental income and experience relevant to education, engineering, STEM, child development, or youth programming.

Requirements

• A genuine interest in working with elementary-age students.
• Dependability, punctuality, and organization.
• Ability to manage a group of children.
• Comfort using mobile apps for communication and scheduling.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to assigned schools.
• Willingness to undergo a background check, at the employer's expense.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds for short periods to transport program materials.

Responsibilities
